

He was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Iowa with advanced degrees in dentistry. William was an enthusiastic Iowa Hawkeyes fan.
He earned the highest level of professional achievement for orthodontics as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. William was dedicated to his patients and had a leadership role as a member of a Case Study Club. He practiced orthodontia in Riverside for over 40 years and found great joy and satisfaction in helping his patients and improving their quality of life.
On August 15, 1953 William David Bowker married Marilyn June Keeline. They were happily married until her death in February 1969, she was 38 years old.
William D. Bowker is survived by his four children. Dave Bowker, Barbie Bowker Hartman (husband, Robert), Bill Bowker (wife, Julie), grandchildren Lauren, Kaitlyn and Austin, great-grandchildren Mia, Landon, Lincoln and Riley, and Chuck Bowker (wife, Shawn), grandchildren Erin and Lilly.
For many years William enjoyed playing golf and was a longtime member of the Riverside Victoria Club. He was also a member of Rotary Club, excelled at home fix-it projects, and adopting Airedale Terriers made him very happy.
William David Bowker was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We celebrate his long and fulfilling life.
The Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at 10am at Acheson & Graham, chapel, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside.
A reception will follow at 1145 Via Vallarta, Riverside.
