Bonnie Lee Nelson Paur passed away after experiencing a brilliant life filled with love, laughter, joy, family, friends, challenges, victories, promise, faith and God. She was born to James Henry Nelson & Marjorie Jacob Nelson Briest in Murray, Utah, February 7, 1927. Her childhood loves consisted of exploring the terrain and mountains of Helper, Utah, and summer visits to Aunt Emme's, where climbing cherry trees and sleeping under the stars was an adventure. She endured the years of the Great Depression. Her teenage years introduced her to a love of singing and, of course, Leo Paur. They were married May 24, 1946, in Mexico and later sealed in the Manti Temple March 31, 1948. They were blessed with seven children. Bonnie never shied away from a hard day's work and proved herself an excellent waitress and cook throughout her life. Her family will never forget her wonderful signature soups and Mexican dishes. Her life was dedicated to her family and her home was a haven of welcome, refuge and security for all. Her sweet spirit, kind heart and constant generosity will be missed. Survived by children: David & Marjorie, Steve & Patty, Deborah & Mario Fernandez, Leo, Shelly, Joe & Jan, Frank, and Margie Butkovich; her siblings: Donald, Nick, Steve, Marilyn, Madeline, and Arlene. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Lela & Barbara.
