Bradley Richard Thompson was born on June 9, 2002, bringing great joy to his family. As the beloved son of Sandi Parker Thompson, and the firstborn child and first grandchild, Brad naturally embraced his role as he grew—becoming a leader among his siblings and cousins in every adventure.
From a young age, Brad loved fun, friendship, and being around people. He had an easy smile and welcoming spirit, always quick to talk, laugh, and include others. Strong and athletic, he wrestled and played football through high school at ALA Gilbert North, where he formed many lasting friendships with teammates and classmates. He also built deep friendships through his church community as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Brad served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in McAllen, Texas, where his leadership and love for others truly shined. He loved sharing the gospel in Spanish and helping other missionaries feel encouraged and supported. During his mission he met Sister Morgan Carson, who left a lasting impression on him. After returning home, he sought her out, and their friendship quickly grew into love.
Brad and Morgan were married in the Pocatello Idaho Temple on March 22, 2024. Together they welcomed their beloved son, Wesley B., on November 12, 2025. Brad loved being a husband and father and was deeply devoted to his little family.
Brad also enjoyed his work with the Sandy Police Department as an animal control officer, where he served the community with humility, dedication, and a willingness to learn.
Those who knew Brad will remember his kindness, his loyalty to family and friends, and the warmth and laughter he brought wherever he went. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, and his faith in Jesus Christ guided the way he lived and cared for others.
Brad will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Morgan, and their son, Wesley; his mother, Sandi Parker Thompson; his siblings Luke (Madelyn), Joshua, Ella, Rachel, Jack, and Nate; and his grandparents, Rick and Barbara Parker.
