Dear Mom,
We can’t believe you lost your wikky-up on June 27th, 2025. You were the most beautiful person inside and out. Cursed by illness, your amazing life was cut way too short. You were the best mom, giving us all the advice and tools to live a life with purpose and presence, sympathy and empathy, love and compassion, fun and laughter. You were a daughter, wife, mom, grandma, GG, friend, caretaker, housekeeper, laundress, seamstress, gardener, sprinkler expert, crafter and painter. You did it all and made it look easy. You were perhaps the best list maker of all time. You always thought you needed to organize the already organized, which made you so damn organized.
You were a friend when we needed a friend and a mom when we needed a mom. You let us fail and picked us back up. Our relationship was something out of a storybook. We never had an argument or a cross word with each other. We will miss our group text and talking with you every day. You will be missed by so many who loved you dearly. You were our mentor, champion, and confidant.
You had the last say and you were a badass in every sense of the word.
We love you and we miss you
Your procrastinating daughters
Mom wants to thank her family, besties, adopted Keske family, Surgery team at IMC, Floor T10, Dr. Stern, Merin Kinikini NP, Dr. Romney, chamber girls, fluid gals, and everyone that supported, loved, cared, and prayed for her.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Best Friends Animal Society — or better yet, adopt a pet!
Please join us as we celebrate a life well lived on Saturday, August 2nd, from 6-8 p.m. at Mom’s house. We will provide Mom’s favorite meal (Margaritas and Munchies).
