Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, DeAnna (De) Allred passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side and was welcomed back to her Heavenly Father, the night of April 28, 2025, in South Jordan, Utah. In the days leading up to her passing, De was joking, laughing, and enjoying time spent with her family.
De was born on July 26, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marjorie Call and Orvis DeMont Call. De grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Skyline High School. She later married her sweetheart, Ray Allred in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 13, 1981. A year later, they were solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on August 14, 1982.
De enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, bingo, bears, shopping, Utah Jazz, and watching her kids race BMX as kids. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various church positions. She loved serving the sisters as Relief Society President, and also enjoyed coaching the young women sports.
De worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for about 48 years. She was loved by her co-workers. She was known to always have treats at her desk and loved sharing them.
We would like to thank Copper Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care and Ovation Hospice for taking such good care of De. She loved the residents, staff, aids, and nurses. She took such pride, being an ambassador for the center. Thanks for showing her the respect she deserved. You became her family and in turn, our family as well.
