Erolynne attended Piute High School, then married Bernard Nivard Ryan on July 9, 1964 in Eureka, Nevada.
She loved to crochet, and to cook her family’s favorite – spaghetti, she enjoyed having lunch with friends, and attending any family activity with her kids and/or grandkids. Erolynne welcomed all and had a heart of gold. She gave and never asked for anything in return.
She is survived by her daughter Karen S. Caldwell (Jeremy Caldwell), and daughter-in-law Candace Greenwell, brother Jerry Gillespie (Pam Gillespie), grandchildren: Stormee Lynne Ryan, Miranda Lynn Michael, Bryan Del Tippetts, Brandon Michael Tippetts, Tim Michaels and several honorary grandchildren, great grandchildren: Hailee Michael, Aubree Michael, Zackiree Michael, Kolbee Michael, Paislee Kay Tippetts, and several honorary great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Nivard Ryan, mother Harriet Ann Fletcher Howes Gillespie Elmer, father Eerol S. Howes, stepfather Garth C. Elmer, sister Harriet Ann Howes Muir, brothers: Bryan J. Gillespie, and Kenneth E. Howes, and her son Kenneth Eerol Ryan.
Erolynne’s family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2024 beginning at 10 am, with memorial services to follow at 12 pm. Services will be held at the Heritage Park 2nd Ward church house, located at 5233 South 3200 West in Taylorsville, Utah. She will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Park, located at 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City, Utah.
