Dear Vickers family ~ Lisa ~ a beautiful, young woman with a mature, loving soul.  I loved every minute spent around her and marveled at her "can do" attitude; whether is was a golf shot or a medical issue she dealt with.  My love to all of you at this difficult time.

Seeing Lisa was always a joy. She always had a big smile and a hug for me!  She has a way of making everyone smile! She was a wonderful lady who will be missed.  My thoughts are with the Vickers family.

Lisa was such a good friend. She was in mutual with my sister Kristin and my other sister Jerie Cook taught her class there. That is how I met her. We would always joke around like sisters always do. She is such a special spirit. I am glad now she is in no more pain and will alway remember her smile she always had on her face and in her heart. I did not make it to the funeral but my father went to show our support

I loved what Don said today at the funeral about the Lords vineyard. Lisa was very special. She was here for only a short time but Lisa will always be remembered and cherished by those who knew her.  How blessed we all are to have known her.
Leslie and Jerry, your service to her has not gone unnoticed. You are amazing parents and I thank you for sharing such sweet amazing girls with our family.

Dear Lisa, you were one of the most vibrant persons  that I have ever met!  No matter what challenges life threw at you it never seemed to hold you down! Lisa was a student of mind when she was in the GATE program.  What a delightful young lady she was.  She was always happy and trying to make things better for those around her.  She did have her challenges but she met them head on.  Was very sorry to hear that she had had cancer with everything else she had to deal with.  I am thankful she is whole now and can enjoy her time with her Heavenly Father.  My prayers and thoughts are with your family.  Thanks Lisa for teaching me all that you did.

I appreciated the time I had with Lisa as her coach and friend.  She is an inspiration in never giving up despite her health challenges.  I could always remember her smile and will keep that deep in my heart.  There is another angel in heaven I know that for sure and hope you feel her love always.

Lisa was a beautiful girl on the inside and the out. It was one of the great pleasures of my pediatric practice to have had the priveledge of caring for her. Here is my corrected entry:

Lisa has always been very special to me. When my husband was in the hospital she went to see him with me and was so tender and kind to him. Another time I was in the hospital as was her dad. She would come check on me regularly then go see her dada and back and forth. She got her walking in that day for sure.  
I have never met anyone like Lisa  who could have a serious health issue and come out of it smiling and saying I am alright.

I will miss her unconditional love, caring and friendship. I love her dearly and will forever.

To her family: Lisa's suffering is over but yours has just began. As you grieve for her and miss her my prayer for you is that heaven will shower peace upon you  and  you will feel Lisa near you on those days that are the hardest to bare. That beautiful memories will flood your mind.
It is said God takes the best and well Lisa is simply the best of the best!!!!
 I will be out of town this weekend but want you to know I will be with you in my heart.

Leslie and Jerry, Thank you for sharing such a special person with me.  She is one of very few that I've stayed in contact with over the years.  We shared many of the same interests, especially puppy dogs.  She was a very sweet person, with just enough vinegar to keep you on your toes.  She made me laugh.  I'll really miss her.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
