Paul Stan Loya

Paul Stan Loya, 68, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2026, in Woods Cross, Utah. Born July 21, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He lived a life of adventure, resilience, and love for family and the outdoors. Raised in humble beginnings, he learned the value of family, simplicity, and making the most of life.

A proud patriot, Paul served three years in the U.S. Army and later as a Lieutenant in the National Guard, forming lifelong bonds through service.

He felt most at home in nature—fishing, camping, riding his Harley, and sharing meals with family and friends. He found peace in the mountains, sunrise, and the natural world.

Above all, he loved his family and stayed connected through conversations, shared experiences, and meaningful gestures his children will always cherish.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul Ralph Loya; mother Juanita Vance Loya; stepmother Brenda J. Loya; daughter Makayla Juanita Loya Yeaman; brothers Greg and Robert Loya; and sisters Cindy Foti Loya and Leslie Loya.

He is survived by his wife Sherri Loya; children Paul Loya, Aubrey Loya, Anthony Loya, and Brantson Clair Yeaman; grandchildren Kaz Loya and Alexander Hilliard; brothers Steve Montoya, Jerry Loya (Jennie), Kirk Loya, and Gary Allen; and many extended family and friends.
