Curtis Tolley

Curtis Lee Tolley (79) of Roanoke VA passed away at home on Thursday July 16, 2026 after a brief battle with a sudden illness. He was a devoted husband, father, pawpaw, cherished family member and friend.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bernice Tolley, his brother Herbert “Pete” Tolley, and his son Brian Tolley.

Left to hold his memory close are his wife of 61 years Julia “Judy” Tolley, brother Roger “Clay” Tolley and sister Wanda Sowers (Bruce), his son David Tolley and daughter Teresa Gardner (David), grandchildren Victoria Schmitt (Travis), Michael Gardner (Rebecca), Austin Tolley, Christian Tolley and Jessica Tuell (Steven), and great-grandchildren Korra Schmitt, Isaac and Caleb Gardner, Mattox and Wyatt Tuell, as well as many other close family members, including John and Christy Richards, Debbie and Kerry Lee, Myra Blankenship and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family welcomes friends at Blue Ridge Funeral Home at 5731 Airport Road NW, Roanoke VA for visitation on Wednesday July 22nd from 6-8pm, and funeral service on Thursday July 23rd at 1pm, officiated by Pastor and longtime friend, Dan Carawan, with a brief graveside service to follow.
