It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juan Aguirre Lopez, who departed this life on September 12, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on October 27, 1951, in Jalisco, Mexico, Juan was the beloved son of Salvador Aguirre Cruz and Maria del Jorge Lopez Barajas.
Juan is survived by his devoted wife, Rosa Maria Frias, and their loving children: Ana Aguirre Frias, Marisela Aguirre Frias, Rosario Aguirre Frias, Guadalupe Aguirre Frias, Maria Aguirre Frias, Juan Aguirre Frias, Salvador Aguirre Frias, Manuel Aguirre Frias, Areli Aguirre Frias.
He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Misael Navarro Aguirre, Josué Navarro Aguirre, Kimberly K Aguirre, Cristopher Aguirre, Elisa Aguirre, Rolando S Guzman Aguirre, Rosa V Guzman Aguirre, Bethany M Guzman Aguirre, Ramón Vargas Aguirre, Bryan Garín Aguirre, Derek Garín Aguirre, Miranda Garín Aguirre, Michelle Garín Aguirre, Miguel Garín Aguirre, Macarena Garín Aguirre. Yosafat Rodríguez Aguirre, Rodrigo Rodríguez Aguirre, Santiago Rodríguez Aguirre, Thiago Romero Aguirre, Brandon Aguirre, Alan Aguirre, Daniel Tovar, Juan Ángel Aguirre, Xavi Aguirre, Jayden Aguirre, Emely Aguirre, Dante Aguirre, Carolina Aguirre, Isabella Arellano, and Leah Loredo.
He will be remembered for his warm heart, joyful spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Juan will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 5pm - 8pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home at 5731 Airport Road, NW, Roanoke, VA 24012. Juan's funeral mass will be held September 18, 2026 at 9:00am at St. Gerard Catholic Church at 809 Orange Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016, followed directly by a graveside service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia 24012.
