He worked and retired after forty years from Singer Furniture Company.
He was preceded in death by his son William (Jay)(Will) Perdue, his parents Grover C. Perdue and Nannie E. Eames Perdue and 16 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty C. Perdue.
A visitation will be held November 4, 2026 from 2-4PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home located at 5731 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, VA.
Private burial services will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
