
Edna Warren Brown, 89, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at The Vintage Inn in Williamston. The funeral service will be held Monday, December 19, at 11:00 A.M. at Biggs Funeral Chapel in Robersonville, N.C. with Jimmy Elks and Chris Minton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. A private burial will follow at the Robersonville Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born in Gold Point on October 7, 1927 to Charlie and Rena Warren. She was a homemaker and baby sitter and was wonderful at both. She was a member of the Gold Point Christian Church. On November 18, 1950, she married Vernon Elliott Brown.
Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Mike Brown and wife Julie of Gold Point, a daughter, Vicky Boyd and husband, Tony of Greenville, and a sister, JoAnn Cherry of Portsmouth, Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
