Marie Rogers Whitehurst

On August 16, 1947 she married Ed Whitehurst who preceded her in death on January 18, 1993.

She is survived by her daughter Ann Whitehurst Cherry and husband Lynn of Grimesland, NC, son Howard Whitehurst and wife Annie of Williamston, NC, two sisters Ruth Hunt and husband Gary of Jacksonville, FL and Dot Conner and husband Roger Lee of Williamston, NC. two brothers James Rogers and wife Jean of Tarboro, NC and Daniel Rogers and wife Bonnie of Goldsboro, NC, Three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew and loved her.

Services for Mrs. Whitehurst were held at Grace Family Fellowship on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:00pm conducted by Pastor Dallas Gurganus and a burial at Martin Memorial Gardens.
