Marvin Elmo Haislip

Marvin Elmo Haislip. 91, died Saturday July 25, 2015 at Martin General Hospital. The graveside service will be Tuesday at 2:30 PM at Hamilton Cemetery. with Military Honors.

Marvin was a World War II Veteran and a member of Haislip Roebuck Legion of Oak City. .He was a retired Inspector for NC Fisheries.

Marvin was born in Martin County on June 19, 1924, son of the late Hannibal Haislip and Nancy Freeman Haislip.

He is survived by a daughter Lisa Slimmer and Daryll of Vincent Ohio and a son Lee Haislip and Virginia of Oak City, two grandsons Lee Haislip Jr and Zach Slimmer and a great grandson Ryan Slimmer.

He was preceded in death by sisters Janie of Hassell and Juanita of Virginia, and brothers Hannibal (Snook) and Bill both of Hassell.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville and other times at home of Lee Haislip.
