He was born on December 21, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas. A graduate of Calallen High School with the Class of 1970, he worked at White's Auto Shop in Annaville, the Missouri Pacific Railroad, Refinery Terminal Fire Company, WKM, (owner/operator) of Tom's Tropical Paradise Pet Store in Annaville, Koch Refinery, Coopwood's Air Conditioning, and AltairStrickland.
After retirement, Tommy moved out to Rockport, Texas, and spent his days enjoying the outdoors, scenic waterfront, and fishing.
He was an avid musician and music lover who could often be found drumming his blue kit which was one of his prized possessions.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy E. Mick and Willa Dean Thorn (Jeannie) Mick Pavelka Skidmore.
He is survived by his Kids, Grandkids, Great Grandkids and companion Cindy Horton.
A Memorial Service will be held in Tommy's honor at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 15, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Park. Services will conclude in chapel.
Inurnment services will be held at later date.
