"Joey" Cristobal Hernandez. Joey passed away at the age of 52, due to a terminal illness surrounded by his loved ones on June 12, 2025.

Joey was born April 3, 1973, in Corpus Christi Tx to the late Elena and Juan Hernandez.

He worked over twenty years at Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation.

There's so many things to describe Joey. He was caring, loving, and great to spend time with. The people he loves the most were his nieces and nephews, who love him dearly.

Joey enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, board games, and most of all spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his mother Elena Hernandez and his father Juan Hernandez.

He is survived to cherish his memory by, his sister Elva (Phillip); his brothers Michael (Isabel), Marc (Erica). Joey is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews: Brittany, Dominique, Justin, Aaron, Audrie, and Aubrie.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am, Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park.
