Norma Linda Mungia Garcia

Norma Mungia Garcia, age 63, entered Heaven's gates on August 30, 2026. Born on May 7, 1963 in Robstown, Texas, Norma will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved her. A faithful presence in the lives of her family, she carried herself with a steady compassion that made others feel seen, cared for, and valued.

Norma was a devoted grandmother who cherished her grandchildren dearly. She found genuine joy in time spent with them, and her love was evident in the patience and care she brought to each moment shared.

She also took pleasure in the simple, meaningful rhythms of everyday life. Norma enjoyed fishing, especially teaching her grandchildren how to fish. She enjoyed sewing and tending to her animals, which included goats, chickens, and geese. She also enjoyed making pan de polvo, offering a warm reminder of the comfort and love she so naturally gave.

Norma joins her parents in heaven, Roberto Rufino and Eudelia Garcia. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Roxey and Raul Jr; 6 grandchildren, Ivan, London, Isabella Liam, Zayde and Maverick; siblings, Roberto, Rudy, Jorge, Mary, Olga, Nelda, Esther, Christina, and Isabel, along with extended family and friends.

Norma was a beloved and cherished part of her family’s life, and her memory will remain a lasting blessing to those who carry her love forward.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held for Norma at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Park, 4607 FM 1889, Robstown, Texas 78380 on Friday, September 11, 2026. The family will be welcoming guest at 4:00pm and hosting a prayer service at 6:00pm.
