Pamela Sue Garrison

Pamela had a deep love for Texas, a state that always held a special place in her heart. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — walking along the beach, listening to music, tending to her garden, and caring for animals. One of her favorite times of year was spring, when the Texas wildflowers bloomed in vibrant color — a sight she eagerly looked forward to each year.

She is survived by her loving sister, Marlyn Mumme, and her children: Paul Shanks Jr., Penny Soliz, Marlana Muzny, and Dale Odem.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Brittney Shanks, April Torress, Johnny Silva Jr., Cordero Silva, Derek Shanks, Lacé Silva, Annalisa Perez, Bailey Escalera, Lanster Muzny, Wyatt Muzny, Nicholas Odem, Anastasia Odem, Alex Odem, Jonah Odem, and Jordan Odem, along with many cherished great-grandchildren.

Pamela is also survived by her nephew, Montie Mumme; nieces, Monette Mumme, Kathleen Garrison, and Kimberly Garrison; and cousins, Tara Deleon, Adrian Mumme, Magin Lawder, Dylan Frederick, and Michael Frederick. She will also be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Melodie Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fane and Gladys Garrison; her brother, Alan Garrison; and her beloved grandson, Matthew Shanks.

A gathering to honor Pamela's life will be held at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Park at 12:30 PM, followed by a graveside service.
