Kevin Ray Plaster

His body has been cremated, and private inurnment will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Kevin was born on March 30, 1959 in Columbia, MO, a son of Elbert “Buck” and Jane (Old) Plaster. Kevin served his country in the U.S. Army; later working as a cook, motel handyman, and various other occupations. A lifelong learner, Kevin was a voracious reader who loved to engage others in conversation and argument. He will be missed by family and friends alike.

Survivors include his father, Buck Plaster; stepfather, Dick Martin; brother, Daniel Plaster; daughters, Jennifer Lewis & Chelsea Plaster; and grandchildren, Melody & Harmony Brown.
