Richard Todd Price

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday May 16, at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island.

Richard was born on October 21, 1936 in Orion, IL, the son of Stanley William and Marie Eva (Seiter) Price. He married Sandra J. Houston on May 25, 1966 in Rock Island. Richard worked for many years at Case IH in East Moline, retiring in 1991.

In his free time Richard enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Rock Island Conservation Club and the In-Fisherman Club. In earlier years, he had worked as a barber, and was a member of the Illinois National Guard.

Survivors (and spouses) include his wife, Sandra, Rock Island; daughter, Kelly McVean, Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Kirstie (Brandon) James, Shanna McVean, Lindsay McVean, and Kaiden McVean; and a great granddaughter, Annalee James.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William, John, and LeRoy, and sisters, Helen Phillips and Dorothy Lafferty.
