Richard Quintana

Funeral services will be 10:00AM Tuesday (11/27) at the Hodgson funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-7PM Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service and he will be buried with his wife in Rock Island Memorial Park with a private service. Quint “Pops” was born October 3, 1942 in Silvis, IL to John & Aurora (Almaguer) Quintana. He was united in marriage to Mary Anne E. Lundy on February 13, 1962 in Rock Island, IL. She preceded him in death June 1, 2005. Richard had been employed for several years at the former Farmall Harvester Works until his retirement.

Pops was a huge Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed socializing with his friends in the garage, and loved to Barbeque sharing his famous sauce. His grandchildren & Great grandchildren were very special to him and he will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include a son Richard J. Quintana Sr., Bettendorf; 5 daughters Rosanne (Carl) Hensley, rock Island, IL, Jeannie (Jim) Martin, Moline, IL, Christina (Luis) Miranda, Moline, IL, Angela Terronez, Moline, IL, Rachel (James) Terronez, Forty Fort, PA; 15 Grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 6 sisters; 1 brother; numerous nieces & nephews; and several close garage friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, 4 sisters, & great granddaughter Katelynn.
