Antoinette Barrow, 74, of Rockland, Massachusetts, passed away on September 22, 2026, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her illness, she showed the same strength and determination that guided her throughout her life.
Antoinette was born on July 7, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Anthony and Allene Barrow. In the late 1950s, her family left Tennessee and made a new home in Rockland, the town where Antoinette would grow up and spend the rest of her life. She attended the Rockland Public Schools and proudly graduated from Rockland High School with the Class of 1970.
Always a dedicated student, Antoinette continued her education at Northeastern University. There she distinguished herself not only by earning her degree but also by receiving an academic award in recognition of her achievements. Her success at Northeastern was a testament to her intelligence, hard work, and commitment, and it remained a source of pride for her family.
Antoinette will be deeply missed by her beloved brother, Michael Barrow of South Weymouth, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Allene Barrow, who brought the family to Rockland more than sixty years ago.
