Adly Zaki Sedaros, MD passed away on April 26, 2023 in Melbourne, FL. Dr. Adly was born in January 1, 1936 in Cairo, Egypt. He moved to the United States eventually living out his life as a beloved husband, father and physician on the space coast.
Dr. Adly began his life in Egypt, where he was raised and graduated medical school. Shortly after graduation, he was drafted into the Egyptian military, where he served in the Six-Day War. Much of his time was spent as a prisoner of war. He used that time to study and also dream about starting a life in America. With his new bride, Dr. Sue Sedaros, he made that dream come true and moved to New York, New York in 1971 where he and his wife begin their medical residency training.
He could tell you countless stories about all of his patients. As a pediatrician, he was able to watch his patients grow and become parents and grandparents themselves. He truly loved his profession and was extremely dedicated. His trademark greetings of “Hi buddy” or “Hello beautiful” will be remembered by many.
Dr. Adly’s world was his family. He would do anything for his 2 boys including taking them all over the US for tennis tournaments. His love grew as he added daughter in laws and 7 grandchildren to his heart.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dr. Sohair Sedaros, sons Robert (Jennifer) Sedaros and Steve (Heidi) Sedaros, Brother Shawky (Dolly) Sedaros, and grandchildren Christina, Amanda, Robert Zaki, Samantha, Addison, Timothy, and Joshua Adlai, nephews Jim Rizk, Jason Sedaros, Daniel Sedaros and niece Katrina Sedaros.
