Albert Pont, 90, of Indialantic , passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Albert was born January 1, 1921 to Elzie Pont and Christina Hahn in Alliance, Nebraska. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He served our country and retired from the U.S. Marine Corp. Albert was also an air traffic controller for F.A.A. . Albert was a member of the VFW, American Legion and volunteered with the Holmes Regional Medical Center. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, and woodworking in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife of 65 yr. Mary E. Pont; sons Gregory, Steven Richard, Michael, Mark, and A.J.;daughter, Mary Sellers; sister, Christina Rusk; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Friday April 15, 2011. Internment is at Florida Memorial Gardens.
