Allen you sure left a void in our groups. You were a generous person always willing to teach or answer a question. You live an incredible life but were always humbled. Rest in the valley of peace my friend. You sure left an impression with me. I miss your posts, pics and shared information. Thank you.

Al I was saddened to hear of your passing. We never met but you always brought a warmth to my heart when you shared your photos of aircraft from Patrick AFB.  Years ago Melbourne and Satlelite Beach were favorites of ours to go visit when we lived in Palm Beach County. Living quite a distance now in the Carolinas seeing your photos frequently brought back good memories. I know many people were saddened of your passing, I hope your friends and family are at peace knowing you are in a better place now. 


Rest in peace, Al, may God bless and keep you. I never met you in person, but enjoyed our conversations and your photographs via the internet. See you soon.....

Proof that one should always take time to meet in person those that share your hobbies.... I've known and corresponded with Al for over 15 years - and yet never met him in person.  The radio hobby was a mutual interest of ours and the community has suffered a great hit with his loss.  May you rest in peace, Al.

Will miss Al and all the conversations we shared over the years about our mutual interests.  He was a true patriot.  Say hello to "Butcher" for me Al.

Al Stern you will be truly missed by all the friends you made on the "NET". You were the leader of all that monitored radios. I was totally shocked when I heard the news Sunday and it sadden my heart. I will see you in heaven where we can once again monitor the airwaves. My deepest sorrow and prayers for all of your family and friends.
