Andrew George Pavlakos

Andrew was born in Athens, Greece, September 13, 1927. He immigrated with his family to Chicago, IL at the age of 12.

Andrew played the violin and studied music at Indiana University Bloomington and later served in the US Army stationed in Germany.

He married the love of his life Ellen, and was a loving father to his sons James and John.

In 1964 Andrew moved his young family to Indialantic, Florida where he began a long career building custom homes until his retirement in 2012.

He was a talented award winning designer & builder with hundreds of homes, commercial buildings, and developments to his credit.

Andrew had a passion for classical music and was devoted to his family and church.

He is survived by his wife Ellen of 60 years, sons; James (Katherine) and John (Theonymfi), three grandchildren; Andrew (Mandy), Christopher, and Pavlos, and a great grandson; Cade.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, school building fund.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 30 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5965 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL with funeral services to follow at 2 PM.
