Archie Hall, a loving husband, father and grandfather, age 80, of Melbourne, Fl, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was born March 14, 1933 in Tazewell, VA to the late William and Macie McCoy Hall. He was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served as a Corporal in the Army as a tank commander. Mr. Hall relocated to Melbourne, FL from Dayton, OH in 1964, where he worked for Radiation/Harris Corporation. He then retired from Computer Sciences Raytheon in 1991, where he was the fabrication supervisor on the Range Technical Services Contract at Patrick AFB. Mr. Hall was a member of the Baptist Church, an avid fisherman, classic car enthusiast, and a talented blue grass musician.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Mr. Hall is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Mrs. Ketia Hardy Hall; daughter Judy Stephens of Melbourne, FL; granddaughter Heather Teague and husband Greg of Longwood, FL; granddaughter Sandee Ames and husband Bryan of Port St. John, FL; great-granddaughter Macy Ames; and sister Evelyn Woolery and husband Kenneth of Dayton, OH.
Services will be held Thursday, September 26th at 11 a.m. at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church in Melbourne. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour before the service.
