She was an avid genealogist, long-time business owner and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband, Lee, explored the United States extensively before settling down in The Great Outdoors to retire together. Even after retirement, Betty loved to give her time to her community, and was proud to be a member of both the Great Outdoors and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Patrick Zollars; her mother, Ruth Jane Zollars; her son, Patrick Frank Harkey; and her husband of over 50 years, Stacy Lee Harkey. She leaves behind a brother-in-law, Donnie Denese (Erika); a sister-in-law, Kathy Denese; an aunt Mary Lou Zollars; a granddaughter, Adrienne Harkey and her mother Marilyn Harkey.
There will be a graveside service held at 3pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.
