Though his time with us was short, Boone brought immense joy and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. To know him was to love him. His days were filled with play and mischief, as he found great delight in exploring the outside world. He loved anything that made loud noises and wanted to know all the intricate details. His love of sunset golf-cart rides were always enjoyed; especially after a massive dinner. He was one to never miss a meal, especially if it involved steak. His love of dogs was known since the beginning and you always could find him by his four-legged best friend, Ruby.
Boone is survived by his devoted parents, Brandon McCrae and Dannielle Reynolds, and his loving siblings, Waylon and Beau. His beloved paternal grandparents, Clayton McCrae and Angelia McCrae and esteemed great grandmother, Liz Reynolds, along with the maternal grandparents Cullen Clark and Jennifer Clark. Boone’s life was also enriched by the affection and care of many loving aunts and uncles, Shyann McCrae, Ely Orrison, and Logan Clark who will forever cherish their memory.
The family would like to express deep appreciation for the help and support they have received from the entire community, even reaching from states away.
Boone’s love and wild spirit will burn bright in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be very dearly missed but he will never be forgotten.
An open casket visitation gathering will be held from 11:00AM to 12:00PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1950 Michigan Ave, Cocoa, FL 32922, with a celebration of life beginning at 12:00PM. Following the church service, Boone will be laid to rest at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
We'd like to thank the Brevard County Sheriff's Office for providing escorts for a safe procession of cars and a fleet Boone's favorite diesel trucks.
