Carol Ann Kurrus

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Kurrus, who went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on March 2, 1945, Carol lived a life filled with profound love, unwavering faith, and boundless compassion.

Carol met the love of her life, Robert W. Kurrus, at the tender age of 12. Their love story spanned 61 beautiful years of marriage until Rob preceded her in death on May 26, 2026. Together, they built an incredible life, raising 6 children, traveling the world, forging lifelong friendships, and spreading the word of God wherever they went.

A true matriarch, Carol embraced her roles as a wife and mother with immense joy and dedication. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she opened her home and heart to many foster children and ran an in-home child daycare center.

Carol's deep love for the Lord was evident to everyone she met. She joyfully shared her faith, touching countless lives with her kindnessand warmth. She is survived by her loving sister, Emily Meyer, her devoted children, cherished grandchildren, precious great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Though Carol has passed from our sight, her strength, bravery, and courage will forever live on in all who knew her. She truly embodied the spirit of a Godly woman, as eloquently described in Proverbs 31:10-31. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire us all.

May she rest in eternal peace with her beloved Rob and in the loving embrace of her Savior.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026, at Harbor City Christian Church, located at 3210 Aurora Road, Melbourne, Fl 32934.

Visitation will be held at Harbor City Christian Church on July 25, 2026 from 12:00pm-1:00pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 1:00pm-2:00pm, followed by story sharing and refreshments from 2:00pm-4:00pm.

A committal Service will take place at Florida Memorial Park, 5950 S. US Highway 1, Rockledge, Fl 32955 on July 25, 2026 @ 4:30pm.
