Carolyn Duley Dodd

She was born April 14, 1926, in Fulton, KY, the daughter of Mamie and Guy Duley. Her late sister, Marcy Duley Snow was her only sibling. On May 22, 1953, she married W. Stanley Dodd, Jr.

She graduated from Columbia College in Missouri in 1946. As a wife, mother and heart of the family, her love and dedication made every day brighter. From managing the household to nurturing growth, she filled her family’s lives with warmth and loving care.

Mrs. Dodd and her late husband were very spiritual and were longtime members of the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.

She is survived by daughter Ellen and son-in-law Thomas Hayes of Melbourne, FL; son Philip and daughter-in-law Mary Dodd of York, PA; son Warren Dodd III and partner Susan Weaver of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren Shannon Hayes of Jacksonville, FL; Christopher Hayes of Melbourne, FL; Sarah Dodd of York, PA; Heather and Casey Connor and great-grandchildren Clayton and Rhone Connor of Jacksonville, FL.

A graveside service for Carolyn will be at held on August 14, 2024 at 10:00am at Florida Memorial Gardens,
