Growing up in Brooklyn and Queens, NY, she was voted “Most Lively” before graduating from Jamaica High School. She married Joseph J. (Joe) Wolf on April 21, 1951, and lived in Plainview and Huntington Station, NY, before moving to Melbourne Beach in 1991.
Rena was a lover of music, enjoying playing the piano and singing. One of her special talents was making other people feel loved and winning them over. She was employed as a lab technician at Huntington Hospital in New York for 18 years before retiring to Florida in 1991, where she volunteered at Holmes-Regional for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (Martha), Peter (Rebecca) and John (Nina) as well as four grandchildren (Madeleine, Cara, Amanda, Jeremy) and four great-grandchildren (Audrina, Layla, Lincoln, Meadow). She is also survived by her sister Linda Sancilio and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and her sisters Celia and Vita.
Catherine's service will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, located at 3050 N Highway A1A in Indialantic, Florida, on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Following the service, a small reception will take place in the adjacent Church Reception area
