Charles Frank Anderson

Charles "Chuck" Frank Anderson, 70, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on October 15, 2025, while enjoying a morning of fishing on his birthday. Though his passing was unexpected, it brings comfort to know he entered into the arms of Jesus while doing one of the things he loved most.

Chuck was a devoted husband of 39 years to his wife, Diane. He was a wonderful father to Janel (Mark) Andrews and Kristin (Titus) Snavely, and the best grandpa to his granddaughter Everly Joy, who brought him endless happiness. He was a loving brother to Kathy (Rusty) Buchanan and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Vincent Anderson and Kim Noai, his older brother Clayton Anderson, and his nephew Damon Anderson.

He retired after 34 years of dedicated service with USBI and United Space Alliance. His passion for the space industry continued in retirement as he volunteered as a docent at the Sands Space History Center. An avid fisherman and lifelong lover of the outdoors, Chuck found peace in nature and joy in caring for his plants. He was a loyal friend to many, maintaining friendships that spanned decades. Chuck was always there for those in need, giving his time to church youth groups and caring for his neighbors with kindness and humility. Those that knew him best will remember his gentle spirit, kind heart, and quiet strength. He will be remembered as a man who loved to fish, but loved his family and friends even more.

His memory will be honored at a celebration of life service, to be held at 3PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the First Baptist Church Merritt Island Chapel, 140 Magnolia Avenue, Merritt ISland 32952 with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
