Charles Clement Davis, 85, of West Melbourne, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was born in Bridgeton, NJ on September 12, 1930. Charles proudly served his country for two years in the United States Marine Corps and for four years in the Air Force. Charles moved to Brevard County from Miami and worked as a distribution supervisor for Florida Power and Light.
He is survived by his daughters, Reita Davis Curry (Don) and Patti Davis Hodgson (David); his grandchildren, Charlie Hodgson, Brian Curry (Courtney), David Curry (Melissa), Julie Lahue (Lance) and Kevin Curry (Laura); his great-grandchildren, Austin Curry, Haleigh Curry, Sarah Curry and Kylie Lahue; his sisters, Jean Clark and Nancy Howell.
There will be a memorial service held at 6pm on Friday, May 13 at First Baptist Church of Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Rd Melbourne, FL 32904. There will be a graveside service held at 11am on Saturday, May 14 at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Ave, Miami Lakes, FL 33014.
