Christine E. Burke

Christine Elizabeth Burke of Merritt Island, Florida passed away at Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital on January 17, 2011. Mom passed quietly in her sleep, after being visited by family and friends over the weekend.

She was an extraordinary woman who leaves behind a loving daughter, Karen Matthews; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Rhonda; niece, Carlie Sharp; granddaughter, Christina Davidson; great-granddaughter, Shelley Maree Davidson; nephews, Dale Burke, James Crawford, Lee Morris, Scott Morris, Steve Morris and her many friends.

Christine is reunited with her husband and love of her life, Kevin; her mother and father, Alice and Clarence Maree; sisters, Muriel, Olivia, Margorie, Alice, Kathryn, Helen; her only brother, Clarence Junior and the Lord God.

Many thanks to James Crawford, Frankie Crawford and Donna Sabelnik who watched over Christine during the last years of her life. And to Myra Baldwin, Christine's best friend and caregiver.

Family and friends can pay their respects at Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge, Florida between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 20th. Graveside services will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens on Friday morning, January 21st at 10:00 AM.
