Christine Ann Figueroa

MELBOURNE – Passed away peacefully in Melbourne at the age of 83.

Dear mother to Debbie Leitten (Chuck), Lisa Peterson (Jim) and Juan Jr (Lesa). Beloved Gigi to Mitchel, Jessica, Eric, Trey, Alex, Tyler, Chase and Aubry. Great Gigi to Bella, Sterling, Beckham, Hudson, Emma M, Christopher, Emma B, Colson and another on the way. Special acknowledgement to her Care Giver, Candy, and neighbor, Joe, for all their support and love that enabled her to remain in her home over the last few years. Pre-deceased by loving husband Juan Figueroa, brother Daniel Jaroszewski and parents Edward and Celia Jaroszewski.

Chris was born and raised in Buffalo, NY where she stayed until 1997 when she moved to Melbourne, FL with Juan. She worked as a hospital equipment tech at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) for 15 years until she became dedicated to managing the home. Chris enjoyed music and dancing in her early years and after her children were born, she became a devoted mother, the “General” of the house and the family taxi. She earned “Fan of the Year” from her son’s little league football team to acknowledge her dedication. Chris was always there when the family needed her. Juan and Christine were married for 61 years. Chris will be greatly missed – rest in peace!

Per her wishes, Chris will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held with family.
