Corrine C. McCalmont

Corrine McCalmont, 87, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. She was born on July 17, 1938, in Pensacola, Florida, and spent much of her life in Merritt Island, Florida, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and helping others.

Corrine was a dedicated real estate agent and mortgage broker in Brevard County for many years. She was especially passionate about helping first-time homebuyers achieve the dream of owning their own home. Known for being meticulous in everything she did, Corrine approached her work with great care, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to the people she served. Her patience, knowledge, and genuine care for the people she served earned her the respect and appreciation of countless clients and colleagues throughout the community.

Above all, Corrine cherished her family. She was the loving mother of Terrence McCalmont (Tammy), Rhonda Heifner, and Darryl McCalmont (Michelle). She was also the proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Corrine will be remembered for her kindness and dedication to others, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched—both in her family and through the families she helped find homes of their own.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
