Dalys Renee Huffman

She was born in Mobile, Alabama to Donald Mixon & Juanita Elizabeth Marrell Tucker on August 20, 1955. She was always a mother before anything else, until she became a Gigi & then that came first. She worked as a Senior Supply Chain Business Operations/Compliance Specialist but referred to herself as a “Compliance Specialist” at Northrup Grumman for almost 3 decades. She previously worked as a Senior Buyer in general procurement for most of her career at Northrup Grumman & Opto Mechanic Inc. She had a love & passion for gardening & her orchids.

Dalys is preceded in death by her parents Donald Mixon & Juanita Tucker, & her brothers, Donald Mixon Jr & Dewayne Lawson Tucker.

Dalys is survived by Kristin Huffman(daughter) & Adam Tennant(spouse), Aria Tennant(granddaughter), John Roger (uncle) & JoAnn Maier Marrell (aunt), Bonnie Tucker (aunt), Carole McGinnis Tucker(aunt) & Scott Tucker (nephew).

The family of Dalys wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Ashley Howard (Best nurse in her hospital stays, who we became close with) and Anna, (The best hospice nurse that took the best care of her in her final weeks) & our friends and family, who have been by our sides throughout this whole journey. Also, Chaplain Tom Wood, Dignity Memorial, & Ammen Cremation.

Gathering hour from 3-4pm with Funeral services to follow at 4pm December 28, 2021, with Tom Wood officiating & refreshments after. Arrangements made by Dignity Memorial Life Event Center @ Florida Memorial & Ammen Family Cremation Services. Cremation to follow.
