Dee was born on April 15, 1940 in Nashville, GA to her parents, Hubert and Ethel Wood. Along with her military family, she travelled and lived all over the world. Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known to many in the Cocoa Beach area, working as a hostess at Alma’s Italian Restaurant and Gregory’s Steakhouse. Dee loved people and had that special ability to make everyone she met feel like family.
Dee is survived by her son Darrin, daughter Sharon (Mark), grandchildren Matthew (Rebekah), Kate (Cory), Andrew, great grandchildren Avery, Claire, Emilia and her sister Betty Tillman. She is preceded in death by her husband, John B. Lovett Sr., her son John B. Lovett, Jr., her parents Hubert and Ethel Wood, her brothers Richard, Reuben, Wayne and Ben.
Funeral services will take place on January 31, 2018 at 3pm at Florida Memorial in Rockledge, FL. Visitation will be at 2pm.
