He was born on July 8, 1936 in Mapleton, ME. Darrell proudly served his country and retired from the United States Air Force. He also worked in maintenance for the City of Satellite Beach and also worked as a pest control specialist for Collins Pest Control.
He is survived by his mother, Avis Spear; his daughter, Terri Matarazzo and her husband Carmine, Jr.; his son, Roger Spear; his grandchildren, Carmine, III, Michelle, Jonathan, Tara, and Ryan; his great-grandson, Carmine, IV and several nieces and nephews. Darrell is preceded in death by his wife Nina Spear.
