David J. Molchos, age 79, passed away on March 15, 2026 unexpectedly. He was born in Tampa, Florida on August 9, 1946. He grew up in Miami in the 1950’s, and remained there until moving to Orlando in 1992 after Hurricane Andrew.
Although he remained in Orlando until his death, his true passion was traveling to the nearby Everglades while living in Miami to photograph nature. He produced remarkable photos which were published in numerous books, calendars, notecards, journals and bookmarks. He truly captured the beauty of the world around him.
He never married, but family was everything to David.
He will be dearly missed as a brother and uncle. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Jarman and her husband, Charles; brother, Rick Molchos and wife, Brenda and predeceased sister, Donna Clark. Also by several nieces and nephews.
His life was a testament to kindness, devotion, and the quiet strength of a soul anchored in the lord. We thank him for the memories he left behind and will carry him in our hearts forever.
A Graveside Service will be April 11, 2026 at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida at 1pm.
