Della was a charter member of Hope United Church of Christ in Rockledge. As a founding member, she helped preserve the history of Hope. We are celebrating our 60th anniversary in November and will honor her memory. Della was a faithful member who regularly participated in church activities, and we will miss her beautiful smile and gentle wit and charm.

The sweetest southern Lady! So sad at her passing. My funniest memory, I was driving around in Florida, with Aunt Della, Aunt Pearl and my mother, Virginia. Pearl was telling how to drive, my mom was telling a story and A. Della, in a calm quiet voice said, Louise you will want to make a right turn at the next intersection. This is how the whole ride went, all I could do was laugh, soon enough I’ll be their age😂 

A. Della was always a gracious host whenever we were in Florida. Always a pleasure to be with!
