Dolores Murphy Brown, 83, of Rockledge went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1933. Dolores was a Registered Nurse. She worked in hospitals, Home Care, Insurance, Cruise Ships and was a Merchant Marine RN on a Naval Ship for the last 10 years. She has been taking care of people since she was 15 years old.
Dolores was a devoted and loving wife (married for 61 yrs. to her late husband Larry Brown), mother, grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend. She was the heart of the family and a devoted Christian. She was a loving, kindred soul to everyone that crossed her path in life. Dolores will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children; her son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Melody Brown; daughters, Terry and Debbie Brown, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and Foster Brother, George Murphy.
There will be a prayer service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 8, 2016. A celebration of Dolores’s life will follow the prayer service.
