We were best friends and running mates with June and Don for many years, enjoying football games , a variety of social events, and our weekly indulgence in chocolate chip cookies. With the arrival of Melissa in 1965 and Rob in 1968, Aunt June and Uncle Don played Santa's helper while we celebrated in Kentucky. One year they arrived after midnight to set the toys under the tree and were surprised to find a Supermarket Set which needed assembling. In their formal dress they worked diligently until 4:00 a.m. to ensure the children's Christmas would be a happy one. Don's word was his bond. In many respects Don was larger than life. We have many, many wonderful memories, including a Miami Super Bowl win and a Kentucky Derby as a result of Don's generosity and planning. We will always remember the impact he had on our lives. Our love and thank you, Don. Bob and CarolynGillette Plantation F

June and family, Brenda and I were saddened to learn of Don's passing. He was a fixture in The Forest, a friend to all who took the time to know him, and the moving force behind our neighborhood being one of the best in Suntree...

June,
I am so sorry about Don's passing, I too will miss seeing him cruising our beautiful neighborhood in the golf cart. Both you and Don have been great to live beside for the past 15 years. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I pray you find comfort from precious memories that you and Don have shared.
May he be peacefully at rest, looking and loving you from above.

June & Family,
We were sorry to learn of your loss. Don did an excellent job of managing The Forest. He always balanced concern of keeping our little paradise well kept and the cost to the residents.
Don and his visits on his golf cart will be missed by all.
With sympathy,
Micki & Gene Robbins
