Don Miller, beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on June 1, 2026. Don grew up in the Boston area and came to Brevard County in the early 1970's.
Don lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, loyalty, and love. A kind soul with a big heart, Don touched the lives of countless family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbors through his generosity, unwavering character, and genuine care for others.
A proud Tennessean at heart, Don carried his love for the Tennessee Volunteers throughout his life. His years playing as a baseball pitcher for Tennessee helped shape the determination, discipline, and competitive spirit that would become hallmarks of the man he was. Whether cheering on the Vols or sharing stories from his playing days, his pride in Tennessee never faded. Go Vols!
A visionary entrepreneur, Don built several fence companies. Most recent is East Coast Fence & Guardrail which he built with his wife Beverly from the ground up through grit, perseverance, and countless hours of hard work. What began as a dream grew into an ongoing legacy, reflecting his belief that success is earned through dedication, honesty, and treating people the right way. His work ethic inspired those around him, and the business he built stands as a testament to his determination and leadership.
Away from work, Don found his greatest peace on the water. An avid fisherman, he loved spending time casting a line, feeling the sun on his face, and enjoying the simple beauty of nature. Whether fishing with family and friends or quietly taking in the serenity of the water, these moments brought him immense joy.
Above all else, Don’s greatest accomplishment was the love he shared with his wife, Beverly. Their love story was one of devotion, partnership, and unwavering commitment. Don was deeply dedicated to Beverly and those who knew them witnessed the special bond they shared. Through his kindness, persistence, and genuine heart, he won her love and spent his life cherishing it. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, friendship, and countless treasured memories.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; his children Heather, Jared and stepdaughter Stefani; his brother Eddie, his sister Gina; and his cherished granddaughter, Emily Grace; many nieces and nephews; and employees. He was preceded in death by his sister Marilyn.
While Don’s accomplishments were many, those who loved him will remember him most for the man he was — a devoted husband, loving father, successful businessman, caring boss, loyal friend, passionate fisherman, and a man whose heart was always bigger than the moment required.
His legacy lives on in the family he loved, the business he built, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
You are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in honor of Don to be held on July 18th, 2026, at “Time Out”, located in the banquet room at 607 Florida Avenue, Cocoa Village from 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Heart Association.
