R.I.P. Don.  You were the ideal leader of people in team tasks.  I had worked
for you for several years in the 1980's-90's.  I had not realized that you were
a USS Randolph sailor in the Navy.  I too was stationed aboard her & went to
the Med on her in 1965.  You have been in my thoughs often.  Thank you
for your leadership and for instilling in me the example of leading by example. I was only recently informed of yoor passing.  God bless your family..

I met Don & Betty Jo one time at the Cracker Barrel in Vero Beach. A wonderful happy couple indeed and a wonderful lunch meeting. All other meetings were by e-mail. Don's father and my mother (Henerita Schultz ie Priest) had the same grandfather and grandmother. Don had done very detailed and thoroughly researched the Schultz name. I know he made many trips to the cemetery and library in Fond du Lac, Wi. All the way back to when our great grandfather came over on the ship from Germany. Because of Don's exceptional and outstanding nature he gladly shared this work with me. I am sorry I did not spend more time helping Don do the research. I  could have learned so much more and helped more. Thru his research he found me and contacted me. I would like to help carry on his research if anyone is picking up where he left off. Today I had lunch at the same Cracker Barrel where we meet Don and Betty Jo. Our lunch today was with my Sister (Betty Pierce) my brother-in-law (Jack Pierce) and my Nephew (Jim Pierce). I found out today after trying to e-mail Don and doing a google search that Don had passed away. I was shocked to learn of his sickness and passing. He seemed so healthy and strong the day we meet. Jim Pierce is also very interested in carrying on the research of the Schultz side of our family.
Betty Jo I am so happy we had a chance to meet Don and you. You have my total sympathy on the death of this wonderful man. Our sympathy goes out to your entire family Betty Jo from the other side of the Priest/Schultz family.

He was a very special man. I will miss him, too.

I also worked with Don at Harris...as dynamic as he was at work he also had a good heart.  I was lucky to have spoken to Don about a year ago but I could hear the pain in his voice, I'm glad he's no longer suffering.  Thoughts and prayers to the family.  Rest in peace Don.

Papaw I love you with all my heart and miss you dearly.You are the best man i know and i had the priveledge of being your granddaugher. The Lord called you home to be among the angels , and to surrond  you with complete joy, peace, and comfort I know you are looking down on all of us. You are my angel.This is not goodbye. Ill see you later Papaw..I love you

My prayers are with Don's family.I worked with Don and I know much he loved  his family.  He was a good man and a hard worker and encouraged others to be their best.  So very sorry for your loss.

Love and miss you. I find comfort in knowing you are not struggling with this horrible disease. I'm sure you negotiated the best deal to get your wings.....now you are a true Angel! Until I see you again........Rest in Peace Dad!
