Born February 16, 1941 in Pontiac Michigan to Robert and Helma Bolinger, she grew up in Rochester, Michigan with two sisters Polly and Sandra (deceased).
Esther married her high school sweetheart Roy Book at 19 years of age, and they recently celebrated their 65th anniversary.
They had two children, Lisa Weeks and Kevin (deceased). One grandson Justin Weeks (Ellen) and two great granddaughters, Cheyenne Weeks and Kaylee Weeks.
Esther was a very loving mother and dedicated Navy wife, moving 17 times in 22 years, including two years in Spain and two years in Scotland.
