Donna Trafalis

Donna, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2026.

Donna lived in beautiful Melbourne Beach, Florida, where she and her beloved husband, Harry, shared a life filled with love, family, laughter, and many wonderful memories. Harry was Donna's devoted husband, soulmate, and the love of her life. He was always there for her and always took care of her. Their love was very deep and truly special.

Harry and Donna were incredible dance partners and shared a beautiful connection that was evident to everyone who knew them. They enjoyed being together, enjoying life, and making memories side by side. Their love for one another remained strong throughout their 40 years together.

During the last three months of Donna's life, Harry was by her side every single day. He never stopped caring for her, comforting her, and making sure she knew she was loved. His love and devotion to Donna remained constant. And Donna's love for Harry was just as strong. Even during difficult moments, she would look for him and want to know where he was. The love and connection they shared remained with her until the very end.

Donna loved her family more than anything. She was a loving and devoted mother to Dan and Julie and a proud and adoring grandmother to Adam, Kelsey, Kyle, and Avery. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured the time they spent together and the memories they created.

Donna was the oldest of five children. She is survived by her sisters, Connie and Susan, and her brother, Steve. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Jimmy and Mother & Father.

Donna had a warm, outgoing, and social personality. She genuinely loved people and enjoyed talking with everyone she met. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcome. She loved laughter, conversation, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. And, of course, she always enjoyed a glass of wine.

Donna was strong-willed, beautiful, loving, and full of life. She had a strength that helped carry her through life's challenges, and her love for her family never wavered. She leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Although saying goodbye is incredibly difficult, her family finds comfort and peace knowing that Donna is now reunited with her mother, father, and her beloved brother, Jimmy. Knowing that she is once again with those she loved brings great peace to their hearts and minds.

Danny & I thank you, Mom, for loving us, for being our Mom, and for helping shape us into the people we are today. We are forever grateful to have had you as our mother.

We love you! We will miss you every day, but we know you will always be with us.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Donna’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association. In honor of Donna’s journey, we hope these gifts will help support families affected by Alzheimer’s and contribute to the search for better treatments and, one day, a cure.
