Donnie was born September 12, 1946 in Wise, Virginia. He came to Brevard County in 1958.
He was an Army veteran and worked as a Lineman for Florida Power and Light. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.).
He is survived by his loving wife Mona Collins, father to Jeremy Collins (Carley) and Richard Bray (Alissa), loving Papa to Cody Cattee, Corbin Bray, Hudson Bray and Declan Bray, sisters Patty Skinner and Wanda Jenkins (Ted), brother Jackie Collins, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn “Pappy” and Leotha Collins, brothers Hubert “Peanut” Collins, Bennie Collins and Harold Collins, sister Jean Dobson, brother-in-law Bob Skinner.
A graveside service for Donnie will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, Florida.
