Doris Simone Byers, 89, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Wuesthoff Progressive Care Center. She was born in Pottsville, PA on March 28, 1921. Doris worked as a legal secretary after college. She then met her husband Andy Byers in 1952 and they were married in 1953. She traveled with her family throughout the US and Europe during her husband's career in the Army. Doris was an avid golfer and bridge player. She is survived by her husband, Andy Byers; daughters, Michele Byers, Annette Colbertaldo; and three grandchildren.
